Dame Felicity Dahl, Charity Founder and Co-President
Felicity Dahl, Roald Dahl's widow, set up the charity in memory of Roald Dahl in 1991.
Felicity and Roald's family were deeply affected by serious illness, tragedy and loss and it seemed only fitting as part of his legacy that Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity could support children and families affected by serious illness.
Since founding the charity, Felicity has worked tirelessly to grow the charity and there are now over 120 Roald Dahl Nurses supporting more than 33,000 children. Thanks to her support, every penny donated and raised goes directly to helping seriously ill children and their families.
In 2024 Felicity Dahl received a Damehood in the The King's New Years Honours.
We are hugely grateful to Liccy for all of her continued work to make lives better for seriously ill children and their families. Our Roald Dahl Nurses are also extremely appreciative of her support. Thank you Liccy.
