Roald Dahl Festival

Parade starts at 11am
Celebrate the annual Roald Dahl Festival in Aylesbury Town Centre. This year's theme is based on the amazing animals that live in Roald Dahl books. This scrumdiddlyumptious day will be brimmed full of exciting hands-on art and craft activities, storytelling, live music and dance that celebrates Roald Dahl. A spectacular and colourful parade of Dahl characters and beasts alongside samba bands and street entertainers will take place in and around the Market Square and Kingsbury from 11am. A range of free family entertainment will follow in Kingsbury, Buckinghamshire County Museum, Aylesbury Library, St. Mary's Church and Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
Come say hello to the Marvellous team and meet Marvin the Marvellous Crocodile and for a spot of facepainting!

Gipsy House Garden Open Days

A rare opportunity to visit the garden of the late Roald Dahl. Experience this wonderful garden, full of magical surprises such as Danny's gipsy caravan and boxwood maze. A real treat for gardeners and your inner chiddler alike!

Refreshments available (proceeds to Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity).

The Dahlicious Dress Up Day

Save the date for a Dahlicious day of dressing up as your favourite Roald Dahl character and raising money to help seriously ill and disabled children.

Classrooms and companies across the country will be buzzing with Big Friendly Giants, Oompa-Loompas, Giant Peaches and all kinds of phizz-whizzing characters.
